Creating design concepts of exhaust systems and the construction of the front pipe and muffler system for gas and diesel engines are among Volke's core competencies.

Our service spectrum includes:

• package checks for hot- and cold-end components

• layout of the converter and DPF in a position close to the engine or in the underbody area  including sensors

• layout of mufflers in the underbody area, installation space documentation, and ENT-construction

During the design phase, Volke creates conceptual and production drawings, as well as documents for inquiries and presentations.  Volke conducts movement simulations with the help of ADAMS/View, an exhaust system in the rigid-kinematic area.  Furthermore, movement curves and enveloping surfaces of individual exhaust system points or from exhaust system components are created.  Volke also develops bracket concepts, using FEM and MKS calculations to do so.
