Design Model Building Interior
Also when creating the interior of the model, in the beginning the package specifications are taken into consideration. The basic framework consists of a base plate, a front wall to receive the instrument panel and side frames in which the doorplates are hung with inset mounted hinges. The entire basic construction consists in the rule out of aluminum plates. Thus, a strength is attained which can support the high weight of the clay without distorting.
Now, the instrument panel is made as a simple volume model using foam pieces and plasticine. Then, the actual form-finding process for the instrument panel begins in which the modelers and designers work closely with one another. When the modeling of the instrument panel is finished, the surface of the instrument panel is electronically scanned. This will form the basis for subsequent design steps. In addition to the instrument panel, the surfaces of all of the other interior components considered relevant are modeled -- from the doors, to the center console, to the seats which are covered in our own in-house saddlery.
