IVP - Partner in Engine Development

Until a new aggregate in development is ready for the market, it must go through thousands of hours on test-benches and successfully complete months of endurance testing.  The IAVF-VOLKE Testing Center for Combustion Engines GmbH (IVP) has 23 fully automatic engine test-benches which are operated by engineers with a great deal of technical expertise and flexibility.  Combustion engines of all kinds can undergo endurance and strength tests, as well as exhaust emission testing and application development.  Asynchronous machines and eddy current brakes with an output of up to 1,100 kW assist the engine function test runs.
