In conducting a structural analysis, Volke examines the vibrations on the trimmed body, on the body itself, and on individual components. During this analysis, the natural harmonics as well as the corresponding global and local natural oscillation are determined.Volke also analyzes local dynamic stiffness. For this reason, the structure being analyzed is stimulated using an electrodynamic vibration exciter or an impulse hammer. The excitation forces and the resulting accelerations are then measured directly on the object, transferred to a computer, and made visible in animations.
