You can use the VOLKE towing dynamometer (VBA) for testing passenger cars, SUVs and light and heavy commercial vehicles with electric and combustion drives. You can also use the towing dynamometer to simulate various driving resistances on public roads to support the development of drive systems. We manufacture the towing dynamometer individually on behalf of the customer. Alternatively, several towing dynamometer are available for rent. In connection with the rental, we can also support you with our experienced team for on-site testing. Of course, we offer on-site training and if required service can also take place at your site, on site or via remote diagnostics. We carry out maintenance and calibration at our site in Wolfsburg.

INTELLIGENT, INTUITIVE AND INDIVIDUAL


You can use the VOLKE towing dynamometer in vehicle testing to simulate driving resistance, which can be an uphill drive or a towing capacity, for example.
It can represent a wide variety of load conditions for numerous applications for the development of drive systems.
The main areas of application are the tuning of units and testing of the engine cooling system as well as the determination of component temperatures and the testing of battery cooling systems in electric vehicles. '
Tyre wear tests can also be carried out more effectively with the towing dynamometer. You can use the towing dynamometer to test passenger cars, SUVs and light and heavy commercial vehicles with electric and combustion drives.
For the single-axle towing dynamometer, the long drawbar results in minor dynamic drawbar load changes during load changes.
The independent wheel suspension, the very low centre of gravity and the favourable mass distribution achieve the excellent  driving dynamics, even at high speeds, here.

EASE OF USE

You can operate the VOLKE towing dynamometer intuitively and easily via a haptic
remote control with a colour display. Function keys and a multifunction rotary knob control the menu-driven interface. You can choose between
vehicle-independent wired operation and a wireless connection.
