Vehicle Measurement

Exact.  Using 3D-coordinate measuring machines and lasers, Volke takes measurements on the entire vehicle, including the operating devices in accordance with ECE-R35.  In addition to the vehicle measurements, Volke also determines the comfort dimensions, and carries out the

H-point measurement with a three-dimensional H-point machine according to ECE-R21.  In addition to the purely linear measurements of the vehicle, the volume measurements of its interior must also be determined with VDA- or ISO-blocks. Thus, the interior's volumetric measurements can be determined exactly, for example, in figuring out how much luggage space is available.
