The data collected by Volke Entwicklungsring SE is processed exclusively by applicant management employees in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. These offices are located in Germany and EU countries and are bound by contractual obligations and data protection guidelines to handle personal data in compliance with data protection regulations. The information you provide to us will be treated confidentially. Your application will be reviewed for employment opportunities exclusively by Volke Entwicklungsring SE. For open positions within the Volke Group, we ask you to apply directly to the respective company (listed below).
4.4 Processing and deletion of your data
We ask that you apply exclusively via our job portal on the website https://jobs.volke.de/de/jobboard. You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your documents via our job portal. Applications sent to us by email cannot be processed for data protection reasons. You can notify applicant management of changes or deletion of your data at any time by emailing karriere@volke.de (see also the right to information and withdrawal of consent).
5. Visitor data when entering our premises
5.1 Processing purposes and legal basis
VOLKE collects, processes, and uses your data for the purpose of information security at VOLKE and its affiliated VOLKE companies (see below). This applies to data collected, processed, and used during your visit, including electronic license plate recognition upon entry to the company premises, or as part of our video surveillance.

5.2 Legitimate interests in data processing
VOLKE collects, processes, and uses your data to verifiably inform you about information security at VOLKE and to oblige you accordingly. This serves to protect VOLKE's intellectual property, which represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) GDPR. The collection, processing, and use of your data by VOLKE's video surveillance systems is carried out to avert existing threats or an increased risk potential with regard to VOLKE's property and/or intellectual property. This represents a legitimate interest of VOLKE within the meaning of Section 4 (1) Sentence 1 No. 3 of the BDSG 2018.
5.3 Recipients of your data
Your data remains with VOLKE. Internal recipients, depending on the purpose, include the Information Security Department, Visitor Management, our bistro, the Legal Department, and the Compliance Department.
5.4 Duration of storage of your data
As long as the purpose of the visit or order is fulfilled, your personal data will be stored by us and deleted after the legally required retention period. Your image data, which may have been recorded on video as part of site surveillance, will be deleted after a maximum of 14 days.
5.5 Your right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You can lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority at any time, for example, at your place of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged violation, in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.

5.6 Is there an obligation for you to provide your data and are there consequences if you refuse to provide it?
You are neither legally nor contractually obligated to provide VOLKE with your data. Should you refuse to provide your data, VOLKE may deny you access to the company premises for reasons of information security and confidentiality.
6. General data security.
We protect our data with data security measures that comply with current data protection regulations and the state of the art (including firewalls, virus scanners, and intrusion detection software). If you are connected to a multiple network environment, you must be aware that there is always a risk of unauthorized access.
7. Your rights in connection with your personal data
In accordance with Articles 15-18 of the GDPR, you can obtain information about your data stored by us free of charge at any time and without giving reasons. You have the right to have the data we have collected blocked, corrected, restricted, or deleted. You can also object to the anonymized or pseudonymized collection and storage of data for the purposes of optimizing our website and revoke your consent to data collection and use at any time without giving reasons.
