The VOLKE Towing Dynamometer is used to test cars, SUVs and light and heavy commercial vehicles with electric and combustion drives. The Towing Dynamometer can be used to simulate various driving resistances, even on public roads, to support the development of drive systems. We manufacture Towing Dynamometers individually to customer orders; alternatively, several towing dynamometers are available for rental. In connection with the rental, if necessary, we can also support you with on-site testing with our experienced team. Of course, we offer training on site and, if necessary, service can also take place at your location or via remote diagnosis. We carry out maintenance and calibrations at our location in Wolfsburg.

INTELLIGENT, INTUITIVE AND INDIVIDUAL

The VOLKE towing dynamometer is used in vehicle testing to simulate driving resistance, for example driving uphill or trailer load. A wide variety of load conditions can be represented for numerous applications for the development of drive systems. The main areas of application are tuning the unit and testing the engine cooling system as well as determining component temperatures and testing battery cooling in electric vehicles. Tire wear inspections can also be carried out more effectively with the towing dynamometer. The towing dynamometer is used to test cars, SUVs and light and heavy commercial vehicles with electric and combustion drives. For single-axle towing dynamometers, there are small dynamic load changes due to the long drawbar when the load changes. The very good driving dynamics, even at high speeds, are achieved by the independent suspension, the very low center of gravity and the favorable mass distribution. The VOLKE towing dynamometer impresses with its easy operation, compact design and very high reliability.

Easy handling

The VOLKE towing dynamometer is operated intuitively and easily via a haptic remote control with a color display. The menu-guided control is regulated via function keys and a multifunction rotary knob. You have the choice between vehicle-independent, wired operation and a radio connection.
